PROGRAMME
The purpose of this session is to discuss outcomes from a pilot evaluation which was conducted to assess the safety, efficacy, portability, and usability of the Haddenham Lymphflow Go pneumatic compression device (PCD) in patients with lymphoedema and chronic venous insufficiency. The study also assessed whether this device could serve as a practical adjunct to self-care, potentially reducing clinic visits.

This session will discuss the use of the STRIDE algorithm in the management of breast lymphoedema following breast cancer treatment. This case series demonstrates positive outcomes including reduced burden on patients and specialist services whilst highlighting how Comfiwave differs to traditional compression products in relation to tissue softening and mobilization of the tissues
