Fran is the Clinical Lead in Podiatry and Biomechanics at Accelerate CIC, where she works within the clinical nursing teams and runs a specialist biomechanics clinic. This unique clinic provides musculoskeletal (MSK) podiatry treatment for individuals with lymphoedema, lipoedema and leg ulcers.

Fran's current focus is expanding knowledge of MSK care for people with lower extremity lymphoedema (LEL) through research and a multidisciplinary team (MDT) approach.

Fran has experience working in podiatry, surgical, MDT and research environments across the NHS, private practice and social enterprise sectors. She is currently the Vice Chair of the British Lymphology Society Scientific Committee and serves as a peer reviewer for the Journal of Foot and Ankle Research.

Fran holds an NIHR pre-doctoral fellowship award and is studying at King’s College London, where her research focuses on understanding the impact of MSK impairment in people with LEL.
